Meet the Women of Underwire
Underwire started as three suburban moms who wanted to better understand our ballots — and ended up building a statewide network helping other women to do the same! What started as a few texts and conversations has grown into a regional organizing effort. We’ve hosted events with lawmakers and reached thousands of women through social media and word of mouth. Our events are casual, our conversations are candid, and our goals are serious: better public schools, safer communities, fairer elections, and access to healthcare. We’re not political insiders. We’re parents, professionals, and neighbors who decided to stop sitting on the sidelines, and we’re bringing others along with us.
